Church of the Holy Sepulchre
The holiest site in all of Christianity — is right here, in Israel! The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is believed by Christians to be the very place where Jesus, the Son of God, was buried.
The church is always full of people — tourists, pilgrims, dreamers, and believers from around the world. For many, it’s a deeply moving spiritual experience. In such a busy and intense space, it’s best to put on your headphones, focus, and explore for yourself: What exactly is going on here? What do the artworks and symbols mean? And how do so many Christian denominations manage to share the same sacred roof?
